The Department of Geological Sciences is sad to report that Emeritus Professor Les Coleman passed away peacefully on July 12, 2019 at the age of 92. He joined the Department in 1960 and taught mineralogy and petrology until his retirement in the mid 1990's. His family indicate that a reception will be planned for later in the summer, and information will be provided when available.
